Questions, answered

Will it stop every boil-over?

No tool can promise that. Propping the lid lets steam escape so less foam builds up, but a pot on high heat can still boil over. Turn the heat down once it's boiling and keep an eye on it.

Will it fit my pots?

It slides onto most pots with a standard metal rim. Very thick rims, like heavy cast iron, may be too wide for the slot.

Is it OK on a hot pot?

It's silicone and made to sit on the rim of a cooking pot. Keep it away from the burner flame, and use an oven mitt to move it while the pot is hot.

How do I clean it?

Let it cool, then wash it in warm, soapy water and dry it. Rinse out the slot if food splashes into it.

Is it just one carrot?

Yes, you get one carrot clip, which is one per pot. If you often have two pots going, get a second one.
