Questions, answered
How long does a cup take?
It's slower than an electric grinder: you turn the crank until the beans are through, and coarse grinds go quicker than fine. Think of it as part of the morning ritual. If you want coffee at the push of a button, an electric grinder suits you better.
Can I change the grind size?
Yes, twist the adjuster under the crank: tighter for fine, looser for coarse.
Will it grind for espresso?
It's best for pour-over, moka pot and French press grinds rather than very fine espresso.
How do I clean it?
Brush out any grounds after use and wipe the body with a dry cloth. Keep the grinding parts dry.
How big is it?
About 19 cm tall and 5.5 cm wide, with a 14 cm crank.
