Questions, answered

Do I really need candle tools?

If your candles smoke, flicker tall or leave black soot on the jar, yes: a long wick causes all three. Trim it to about 5 mm before each burn for a steadier flame, then dip or snuff it out so there's no puff of smoke.

Will it fit my candles?

The trimmer and dipper are long enough for most jar candles, pillars and tapers, including deep jars that scissors can't reach.

Does it rust?

The tools have a blackened finish made to resist rust and corrosion. Wipe them dry after use and they keep their matte look.

What's the dipper for?

It's the hook-ended tool. Push the lit wick into the melted wax and lift it back up: the flame goes out without smoke and the wick gets coated, ready for next time.

Is it a good gift?

Yes. It pairs perfectly with a favourite candle for a birthday, housewarming or thank-you.
